Trail Mix Bar Recipe

Recently I decided to break out the food processor and boy, am I glad I did. After making some different nut butters and dicing some veggies, I was ready to process the entire kitchen. There was one thing I knew would be a no fail. Here’s the recipe for my favorite thing to ever come out of a food processor, The Trail Mix Bar.

¼ cup Cashews

¼ cup Almonds

¼ cup Walnuts

¹⁄₈ cup Sunflower Seeds

¹⁄₈ cup Pumpkin Seeds

¹⁄₈ cup Shredded Coconut

¹⁄₈ cup Cacao Nibs

¹⁄₈ cup Chopped Dates


1. Mix ingredients together in a bag or bowl 

2. Put ingredients into food processor or blender 

3. Mix thoroughly, product will be in a consistency between peanut meal and peanut butter 

4. Empty contents onto plastic wrap 

5. Fold plastic wrap around contents, being careful to ensure there are no open spaces 

6. Press contents flat in a large square shape 

7. Cut into bars and serve! 

Makes 8-10 Servings (Best if served chilled)
